About us

We are a small local company who have been operating in West Cumbria for more than 27 years, initially as a plumbing and glazing company, moving over solely to glass in the late seventies. Glass has now become a more specialist product. Our core business is to the general public, however over the last 5/6 years there has been a growing demand for all things glass, such as glass partitions, balustrades and coloured splash backs. We have made a number of totally glass display units for shops in Whitehaven and Workington. Quality Guild approved Alwel Glass, offer services from Double Glazing units, bespoke windows and now are the only company in west Cumbria to House a Straight Line Edger. If you have ideas involving glass which you may think costs a fortune, contact Alwel Glass or call in to their customer friendly premises at Sneckyeat Industrial Estate. You may well be pleasantly surprised.
